I'm Gibran Ariq Natakusuma, an AI/ML Engineer based in Jakarta, Indonesia. I'm passionate about leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning to solve complex real-world problems. With a strong foundation in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, I enjoy building end-to-end AI solutions from data collection and model training to deployment and monitoring.

When I'm not training models, you'll find me exploring and learning new things, or experimenting with new technologies. I believe in the power of technology to make a positive impact for the society, and I'm always looking for opportunities to collaborate on meaningful projects.

Project 1: Driver Drowsiness Detection

Developed a real-time driver drowsiness detection web application using custom-trained YOLO11 and YOLO26 Computer Vision models. Conducted iterative model optimization and comparative benchmarking to identify the best-performing model for real-time deployment. Initially deployed the system using a FastAPI backend on a cloud VM before migrating to browser-based inference, significantly reducing network latency and eliminating server-side prediction. The final application detects awake and drowsy drivers from live webcam input, providing low-latency predictions, visual feedback, and automatic alarm notifications.

Retrieval-Augmented Generation-based customer support chatbot using LangChain and pgvector (PostgreSQL). Processing Indonesian customer support data from the Bitext dataset (Hugging Face), embedded with OpenAI text-embedding-3-small. Dual-LLM architecture: context model (MiniMax M2.7) handles chat history & query reformulation, main model (Gemini 2.5 Flash Lite) generates the final response.

Fine-tuned a COCO-pretrained YOLO11n model to detect cars, buses, and trucks in Indonesian toll-road CCTV footage. Built and manually annotated a custom dataset using Label Studio, then evaluated multiple training configurations to identify the best-performing model.
